This logo design was created for Santa Cruz, CA yoga instructor Jenna Jeantet who has taken on the ambitious goal of raising $20,000 for the 2010 Global Seva Challenge. This Charity was created by the organization "Off the mat, into the world" to raise money towards HIV/AIDS prevention, education and treatment centers in South Africa. Jenna wanted to create a bright, bold, and strong logo that also carried with it themes from yoga iconography. Within the slightly worn "South Africa" text lies the indian symbol of the "heart chakra". This traditional symbol is said to represent compassion, tenderness, and well-being.
